the climax is over!!!
left a few more visitings.. and i think that's about it
bai nian is fun!
reunions are love.

and as i get older, i get more traditional.
or might be due to b's influence.

one week before chu xi
i had a very early reunion at my biggest aunt's place(paternal side)
think i did not mention that my ah gong has 2 wives?
yeah, it's sort of reunion with the people over at the big wife side (my big ahma)
had buffet and hakka's niang tou fu(since nai nai is hakka)
and niang tou fu is the <3<3
we lau-ed yu sheng and boy, was the salmon yu sheng huge and pretty (:
and i drove home tt day! yay
cars were parked at the semi-d's yard tt day. haha.. fun
Chu xias usual, reunion dinner at ahgong's place
this year, to make things easier. Steamboat!
lau-ed yu sheng again.........
this time yu sheng replaced with abalone
since the older folks dun really prefer to eat raw fish.
haha.. the whole yu sheng was practically filled with abalone,
every bite with abalone can! so shiok!
and oh spot huka's big head in the collage. LOL

chu yi is more or less standardise every year
grand uncle's > Maternal side> to and fro with dears
this year, initial plan was movie with dears
but ended up with additional 2 new members :D

after movie me and bro headed back to maternal side
and i witness all the gambling

as planned, b came over to my place to bai nian with mum and dad in the morning
then i prepared and headed over to his house to bai nian with his ahma,aunts and mother
jy and jo came not long after i arrive
we played one feng of mahjong and ate dinner
before heading to rayson's for gambling
ban luck> in between > texas hold'em
something for a change from the usual mahjong
but i am already itching for it, haven't really have a nice good game since new year!

chu sancldn't wake up for tuition in the morning so i cancelled -.-
got to lecture very very late
sit through for 1 hr.... and most of us decided to skip the rest of school
gamble + bai nian at angie's place
before steamboat/bbq at liyin's place
yummy yummy food for the pass few days.
i'll get sick of it in time to come.
i think it's a blessing tt i rarely touch those cny goods
(pineapple, bak kwa and such)

the bak kwa that took me 3 and a half hrs to queue.
madness is the adjective.
bought for b's ahma and mum. guess it's worth it afterall.
but im gonna make b queue next year.
opening on the 15th day. food that we normally dun eat and waste.
it just looks pretty. sigh
alrighty, suddenly the urge to blog totally dies out

i can forsee this cny is gonna be a busy one
and hopefully i get to enjoy the festive season to the fullest this time round.
cny has yet started,
but im having lots of reunions already
i get to see almost every group of friends this weekend.

reach home at 5am -.-
i should start cutting down on the late nights
bad complexion , don't want parents to worry and nag
plus i need to recuperate some energy for the upcoming events.

Mon (26/01) Chu Yi - Cny visiting, both paternal's and maternal's side.
movie with dears after all the visitings.(TBC)
Tues (27/01) Chu Er - Visiting at B's and vice versa.
Gambling session at rayson's (TBC)
and many other gambling lobangs.. can't rmb who jio-ed =/
Wed (28/01) Chu San - school reopen. *&&*^#$#%$
Steamboat dinner at liyin's (TBC)
Thurs (29/01) Chu Si - school. no plans yet
Fri (30/01) Chu Wu - Mummy asks if i want to invite my friends over for mahjong
i'm still deciding, need to seek attendance
Sat (31/01) Chu Liu - Gambling + lau yu shen with tgc at bun+celeste's

yes it was so long ago.
he's officially older than me by 4 years again!

i feel utterly guilty, yeah even though it's all for him

i'm ashamed i haven't get him a present yet.

anyway, we were craving for steaks, so we had a rather satisfying dinner.
christmas, anniversary then his birthday
one whole string of important dates celebrated one after another!
it drains the money, and the ideas.
i always don't have a proper plan for these important dates
cos there's always so much to do!!!
oh well,
i am still enjoying my last year as a teenager
and he's one step close to middle age.

school started, and got me into whiny mood
2009 didn't start out too bad for me.
just that my luck has been rather down this couple of weeks
no elaboration on that.

week 3 of the last term is already coming to an end!
and yet we already have 2 projects pending,
lecturers rushing through lectures to make up for cny holidays,
bla bla bla
and we got to study for our exams str after celebrating. how nice.

daddy was so funny just now.
he passed me a stack of 10 dollar notes(amount to $100),
i looked at him, full of questions on my face
then he said " ang bao money",
i looked at him and asked" WHERE IS THE RED-PACKET?!"
then slowly, he went to open his drawer, take 2 red packets out( me 1 bro 1 )
"nah, put inside, don't anyhow spend"

1st, isn't it too early to give ang bao now.
(but i don't really mind this part)
2nd, who gives the money and the red packet separately,
and moreover given only after the receiver asked?
hur, i think my dad is under some study-stress
he's currently attending some BCA courses
my dad never touches powerpoint slides in his whole life
his construction knowledge are all hands-on related
and now this. poor thing
he told me he slept through lectures. LOL
seriously, shld just stick back to golfing

i won't say 2008 was a bad year
but i haven't being enoying a good year for a very long time
why is it that years in new town were much carefree and just happy?
why is it we have more problems to deal with while we grew older
why is it that we can't live in those rebellious days
where we live in denial and not giving much attention to the future
why am i even babbling?

28th- me and b turned 4 years old. im so glad for the love of my life.
we started the day washing my windows =/
lol, cos my house was having some major spring cleaning
b got a heart attack while helping out
the dirt he saw behind my kitchen fridge was something he has never seen
my clean freak boy, totally freaked out
as daddy was feeling generous tt day,
i got to used the car!
we drove to the supermarket to buy the necessary for our picnic
we made sanwiches, and potato salad?
we laze awhile with the ants and the music in the background
then b decided to talk a look at the henderson waves
i went once, but he haven't so went to explore a little.
we left very soon after cos b tot we did not locked the car
and it turns out that we did lock... -.-
but oh wells, we were too lazy to go back to the bridge
cos the carpark and the bridge was some distance, at least to me :P
we even drove to mount faber, just to see see look look
and as expected, my stomach started growling and settled at west coast for a quick dinner, before driving me home and returned the car
it was a very simple celebration.
ok not a celebration, but just nice to hang out like that
you know. you and ur boyfriend
not just boyfriend, a soul mate perhaps?

31st - count down to 2009 at benjamin and celest place with tgc ppl again
they helped me surprise b with a birthday cake
he's turning 23 tmr
and he still look 18
that's so unfair, by the time he looks truly like some mature adult
i'll be looking like an old lady ):
1st Jan- woke up only at 3.15 in the afternoon
i got a shock of my life cos it's my first time waking up so late
must be the lacking of sleep from the many eventful days,
it's abt 20 mins to b's birthday
